If I could give J. Francis a whole constellation of stars I would. I've been working with their team for more than a decade doing all things that need doing on our old rowhouse. I met them when our architect advised us to find a general contractor who could handle EVERYTHING -- from installing a structural beam (handy when our back wall collapsed) to gorgeous finish carpentry. Roof, gutters, windows, tile, built-ins, wallpaper, carpet, custom concrete, millwork and steel, hardwood decking, name it and they did it. But what makes J. Francis really special is their incredible dependability. They come when they say they're coming. They suggest a range of solutions and the process around estimates and billing is transparent and fair. They clean up on their way out. If something isn't quite right they come right back to fix it. And best of all, they respond whenever a problem arises. In fact right now they're in the basement, replacing our pre-historic furnace. This is an exceptional company filled with lovely and talented people. Working with J. Francis is one of the best decisions I've ever made.
