Remodeling Project Developer

This is not a remote position. This position is focused on residential design, drafting, estimating, and project management. The Project Developer (PD) produces design packages and estimates for residential work including kitchens, baths, basements, additions, and whole house remodels; and hands off to the Production Manager. The PD will have a specialization in Kitchen & Bath Design, Residential Architectural Design, and Estimating. The PD works concurrently with other Project Developers and the field staff and is supervised by the Vice-President/ General Manager. Similar position titles include: Similar position titles include: Designer, Kitchen and Bath Designer, Project Manage. This is not a Construction Manager role.

Required Experience Includes:
  • Demonstrated competence using 20/20; hands-on remodeling experience; minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in selling residential remodeling work and demonstrated sales and estimating success(s).
  • Complete architectural design drawings including existing conditions, floor plans, and elevations.
  • Complete estimates including Invitations to Bid, pre-bid site meetings, material take offs, and estimates in multiple platforms.
  • Proficient in writing specifications and the scope of work for jobs.
  • Close and produce a minimum of $1,500,000 to $2,000,000 worth of business yearly
  • Extensive working knowledge of residential construction methods, techniques, systems, and materials and building codes
  • Coordinating a job from start to finish. ·
  • Display excellent organization capabilities, and to listen and communicate with customers, co-workers, and sub-contractors. Excellent problem-solving abilities, proven ability to be a multitasker and decision maker.
