Woodlawn Kitchen
Just a little note of appreciation for all of the effort you and your company put forth on my home. The project turned out much better than anticipated. With a Victorian house over a hundred and forty years old we wanted a modern kitchen without sacrificing the character of the home. Well, we accomplished that, and in fact, with touches such as the tray ceilings, detailed crown moldings, and additional original door casings the house has a more Victorian look than ever...What impressed me about your company's professionalism was that you set high expectations for your work and you exceeded them.

Starting in the foyer, where we had previously expanded the opening to the kitchen, we have now removed a small closet and expanded the opening to the Dining Room. Not only did this move improve the open feel of the space, but we also exposed a window tucked in to the closet, allowing additional natural light in to the space. The powder room was reconfigured, increasing foyer space and providing crisp and clean new fixtures. A dated formica countertop and vanity was replaced with a beautiful contemporary pedestal sink and and faucet combo. New hardwood floors were installed throughout this space and a side living room area, and the dining room in between refinished to match. Also in the living room, the fireplace and hearth gets an update with a sandstone hearth and contemporary Red Oak mantel and TV mounted above. New light fixtures brighten every space throughout, from a ceiling fixture spilling out shaped shadows in the foyer, to chrome and glass shaded sconces in the powder room and living room to a funky new chandelier light for the Dining Room.
